John is a seasoned Procurement and Supply Chain professional with over nine years of experience. His expertise spans a range of industries, including automotive and aerospace manufacturing and public utilities. He has successfully managed sourcing initiatives across North America, Europe, and Asia, navigating complex international supply chains and building relationships with suppliers worldwide. His work has exposed him to the inner workings of small- to mid-size organizations and large Fortune 500 companies. John has an extensive record of delivering significant cost savings, spearheading strategic sourcing efforts, and leading transformative improvements through sourcing strategies. With strong data analytical and problem-solving skills, he has led teams to drive significant results and capture industry recognition.

During his tenure at ProcureAbility, he has worked closely with a large utility, establishing formal processes with their Vegetation Management group and leading large-scale ($1B+) RFP activities for Electric Distribution, Transmission, and System Hardening contract work. Prior to joining ProcureAbility, John was the Procurement Manager for a large automotive supplier, where he managed a team managing all direct and indirect materials for exterior automotive components, overseeing more than $700M in spend. In this role, John led sourcing projects, identifying and qualifying suppliers domestically and globally to optimize costs and ensure supply continuity in a dynamic market. He continuously looks for ways to improve processes and strengthen supplier/buyer relationships, creating beneficial strategic partnerships across continents.

John holds a bachelor’s degree in supply chain management and an MBA, both from Eastern Michigan University. He is a certified cost management professional and holds a certificate in Supply Chain Technology. In his free time, John enjoys traveling, working out, and spending time with family.
