Kayla is an accomplished procurement and supply chain professional and a manager in ProcureAbility’s Advisory practice. She has extensive experience leading complex projects across Fortune 500 companies in the utility, energy, and aerospace sectors supporting both direct and indirect categories. Her areas of expertise include category management, strategic sourcing, contract and commercial negotiation, contract management, supplier relationship management, process improvement, and project management.
She holds an MBA in Supply Chain Management from Northeastern University and a B.S. in Business Administration-International Management from University of California, Riverside. Kayla was also recognized as her firm’s Supplier Diversity Ambassador of the Year in 2021 for her dedication and support in this area.
Kayla lives in the suburbs of Washington D.C. and in her free time, she enjoys traveling, spending time on the water, and trying new restaurants.
Deep Thakkar has more than 6 years of experience in supply chain and procurement practice across pharmaceuticals, life sciences, food and beverages, tech, utilities, and packaged goods industries with Fortune 500 clients. Prior to ProcureAbility, Deep worked for GEP Consulting, Merck Sharp & Dohme, and other life sciences companies.
Deep has a wide range of advisory expertise ranging from M&A synergy value capture, strategic sourcing execution and category management, procurement transformation, category benchmarking, change management, and general advisory services.
Deep earned a B.S. in Supply Chain Management and Marketing Sciences from Rutgers University. Outside of work, Deep is an avid backpacker and loves to travel while striving for experiences that push him outside of his comfort zone.
