Rana Karimi leads the Solutions group at ProcureAbility, where she focuses on co-creating solutions tailored to address her clients’ sourcing and procurement needs. Rana leverages her experience as a consultant to craft high-impact partnerships with her clients. Her expertise lies in building strategic sourcing programs, transformational initiatives, and buy desk engagements.
Outside her client work, Rana co-leads Fusion, ProcureAbility’s multicultural employee resource group, and is a proponent of DEI strategy and advancement in the firm. Prior to joining ProcureAbility, Rana worked in the sourcing strategy practice at Accenture, where she delivered large-scale procurement and sourcing transformation programs. Before shifting to a career in procurement services, she was a manufacturing engineer and worked in the oil and gas and heavy industrial sectors. She earned a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from the University of Texas at Austin.
In her free time, Rana enthusiastically volunteers in her community. She leads the Dallas Society of Women Engineers as president, overseeing STEM outreach for girls and professional development for women in technical careers. Rana is also a music enthusiast and plays the French horn in Dallas’s Oak Lawn Community Band and other local ensembles.
