Solutions Manager

Shandon’s career started at a best-practices benchmarking and advisory firm, CEB (now Gartner), where he moved through the analyst ranks to become an Associate Director in their Legal and Compliance team in under 7 years. Shandon’s procurement career began with Insight Sourcing Group (now Accenture) and SpendHQ, where he owned sales enablement and the RFP response process for spend analytics, assessments, strategic sourcing, procurement transformation, and their GPO practices. Shandon’s work covered CPG, Retail, Manufacturing, Food, Financial Services, Energy, and Private Equity, including bids for 40 of the top PE firms by assets managed.

Following his time at ISG and SpendHQ, Shandon served procurement technology and managed services organizations such as Synertrade, EC Sourcing Group, and Simfoni, where he owned sales enablement across all service lines. At Simfoni, Shandon oversaw information security, compliance, and data governance in addition to bid responses. Shandon served as the organization’s Data Protection Officer and managed the annual SOC 1 and SOC 2 audit and reporting process. Shandon oversaw Simfoni’s IT organization and led solution design in both domestic and international geographies. Most recently, Shandon served as Chief Procurement Officer at the physical and cloud security integrator Bluebird Equity, where he won public sector bids in multiple states. Shandon is currently a Solutions Manager, focused on sales enablement across all solutions and industries served by ProcureAbility.

Shandon graduated from UVA with a degree in economics. He and his wife love seeing live music of all genres across the US and spending time with their dogs, Mavis and Holden.
